March 2024 News from Bread and Babes It is with great excitement we ask you to support a very special event. Bread & Babes will be holding an auction at Bewshea’s in Downderry to raise money to support anextremely important local community children’s group.
The group has been running for over 10 years. It is a baby and toddler group set up initially by a group of mums who, being based in a rural location found it hard to find any local groups where they could meet other mums in the immediate and local vicinity at an affordable cost.
The ethos of the group very much remains with the community at heart. We provide a safe, fun andengaging group every week. The children we currently enrol have been born and lived through COVID which as we know has had an effect on a large number of children’s mental health. We have been able to help support families and their children by providing fun activities and a social environment to help with their social integration and development. As well as having a strong connection with our local school, StNicolas C of E Primary which we try to engage with on a regular basis
Bread & Babes has now reached the point where we are in real need of some financial help to c.ontinuebeing able to support the development of local children. We would very much like to purchase newequipment and involve local experts to help provide enrichment activities to help encourage social skills.
With this in mind we will be holding our first ever auction on Friday 19th April at Bewshea’s by the Beachand would love your support. There will be music and food included within a ticket price.
Here’s how you and your business can help us...
Please consider contributing an item which we can auction to raise funds...Or...
Make a financial donation
We fully appreciate times are hard for everyone so any contribution if that’s possible would be very muchappreciated.
In return for business donations we will promote your business on social media platforms and our eventposters and flyers. For all donations you will get 2 tickets to the event at a reduced price!
Thank you in advance for supporting this important group. Together we can make a difference in the community and we look forward to another 10 years of Bread and Babes!
Kind regards,
Michelle & the Bread and Babes Team
